What We Do
Our Programs
Udaan
Aatmaja’s flagship long-term scholarship program provides holistic support financial aid, emotional mentoring, and skill development, from Grade 10 until a girl becomes professionally independent. Every year, 50+ academically bright but economically challenged girls are selected. The program includes academic coaching, exposure visits, leadership training, and industry interaction.
To expand our footprint, we now support students from rural Maharashtra who are pursuing education while staying in Vidyarthi Sahayyak Samiti hostels and other PG accommodations in the city. Recognizing the importance of digital access, we also promote digital literacy by providing new or refurbished laptops sponsored by donors, helping these girls stay connected, skilled, and confident in today’s digital world.

MSFC – Multi Skill Foundation Course
Empowering Students Through Hands-On Learning
The Multi Skill Foundation Course (MSFC) is a vocational education program aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP), aimed at making learning more practical, relevant, and career-focused. Launched at Lokmanya Tilak Secondary School, Wakad, in collaboration with Nav Sanjeevan Social Trust, MSFC provides school students—especially girls—with early exposure to real-world skills.
The program follows a 80% practical and 20% theoretical approach and focuses on four core areas:
- Engineering Techniques – Plumbing, wiring, construction, mechanics
- Energy & Environment – Solar energy, irrigation, biogas
- Gardening & Agriculture – Soil testing, organic farming, nursery management
- Food Processing & Hygiene – Nutrition, food safety, health awareness
Students attend weekly sessions (3.5–4 hours) that also foster essential life skills like teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. MSFC students are 3x more likely to pursue further education, become self-employed, and avoid early unemployment.
